Staking JUNO: Step by Step Guide

Juno Network is an advanced blockchain platform designed to simplify the creation and deployment of decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts with the ability to interoperate across different blockchains. It is part of the Cosmos ecosystem and provides developers with powerful tools for building secure and scalable applications.

You can read more about the project in this article.

In this guide, we will take a detailed look at the process of delegating Juno coins to the Life and Crypto validator using the Keplr wallet.

Step 1: Install and configure the Keplr wallet

  1. Install the Keplr extension:

  • Visit the official Keplr website: Keplr Wallet.

Step 2: Top up your Juno balance

2.1. Getting a Stargaze address

  • Open Keplr by clicking on its icon in your browser.

  • In the search bar, type "Juno".

  • Copy your unique Juno address, it starts with "juno1...".

  • You can copy the address by clicking on it or using the "Copy" button.

  • To replenish your balance, you need to send Juno coins to this address.

  • You can buy Juno on the Osmosis DEX exchange and withdraw them to your Juno address.

  • It is important to make sure that you choose the right network for the transfer: Cosmos SDK (Juno), not ERC-20 (Ethereum) or another.

  • After the transfer, wait a few minutes until the transaction is confirmed in the blockchain.
