Introduction
Juno Network is an advanced blockchain platform designed to simplify the creation and deployment of decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts with interoperability across different blockchains.

One of the key contributors to the creation of Juno Network is Jake Hartnell. He co-founded projects such as Juno, Stargaze, and DAO DAO, as well as Public Awesome, the company developing Stargaze.Zone and Juno Network.

The maximum supply is 185,562,268 JUNO, which will be reached 12 years after the network launch, i.e. by 2033.
Initial Distribution:
ATOM Stake Drop: 47% of the total supply was distributed to ATOM stakers through the Stake Drop mechanism, attracting support and users from the Cosmos community.
Software Development Reserve: 10,084,396 JUNO (vested for 12 years) were allocated to fund development and infrastructure.
Core-1 Developers: 1,782,312 JUNO (vested for 12 years) were allocated to key developers of the project.
Hackathons: 2,373,341 JUNO were reserved for hackathons and to incentivize smart contract development.
Inflation Model:
Inflation was 40% in year 1, 20% in year 2, 10% in year 3, and then decreased by 1% each year until it reached the maximum supply in year 12.
JUNO Functions and Uses:
Securing the Network: JUNO is used for staking in a delegated proof-of-stake (dPoS) mechanism, where token holders delegate their tokens to validators to confirm transactions and secure the network.
Governance: JUNO holders have the right to vote on protocol upgrades, treasury allocation, and policy proposals, influencing the direction of the network.
Payment of transaction fees: JUNO is used to pay transaction fees and interact with smart contracts on the Juno network.
