Restake.app: A Detailed Guide to Restaking

1. What is RestakeApp and Why Do You Need It?

RestakeApp is a convenient tool in the Cosmos ecosystem that allows delegators to automatically reinvest (restake) their rewards. This means that instead of manually claiming and redelegating your earned tokens, the app does it for you — on schedule and with your permission granted to a validator.

Why is this important?

When you delegate tokens (e.g., $JUNO), you receive staking rewards regularly. But for those rewards to start generating income as well, they need to be delegated again.

RestakeApp automates this process, which:

• Increases your earnings — thanks to the power of compound interest

• Saves you time — no need to repeat the same steps manually

• Is safe — you give only limited rights (via authz) that can be revoked at any time

RestakeApp works with many networks in the Cosmos ecosystem, including JunoNetwork.

💡 Important: The validator pays the transaction fees for automatic restaking. This process is completely free for you.

2. How to Connect to RestakeApp via the Validator Life and Crypto

Connecting takes just a couple of minutes. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Go to the Website

Step 2: Select the Network

Click on “Choose a Network” in the top-right corner. Let’s use Juno as an example.

• From the list of available networks, select Juno

• Click “Change network”

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet

Restake supports Keplr and LeapWallet. Click “Connect Wallet” and choose your preferred option.

Step 4: Find the Validator

Use the Search bar (1) to find the validator Life and Crypto. Click on “24 hours” (2).

Our validator supports automatic restake — you'll see a special icon next to the name.

Step 5: Enable Restake

Click the “Enable Restake” button.

You’ll be prompted to sign a transaction that gives the validator permission to automatically reinvest your rewards.

You only give permission to delegate your rewards — and only to this validator. You can revoke this permission at any time.

After clicking the button, it will show that restake is enabled.

You can also see this by the green slider.
